ABOUT US

The Core of Vision Wellness

  • Vision Wellness exists to provide a cost-effective alternative to eye care that brings the focus and relationship back to the doctor and the patient. We believe in honesty, transparency and integrity from start to finish. Providing the highest quality care with a personalized approach is always at the center of what we do.

  • At Vision Wellness we strive to create a space that is unique, fun, warm, and inviting. Our goal is for members to feel safe and valued when they visit, and we are proud to make eye care kind of cool in Blount County!

    • We believe that we are called to serve, and in that service to share the love of Christ with everyone we encounter. Rooted in Scripture, Vision Wellness operates to echo what we read in Psalm 119:18 “Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions.” (NLT)

    • Psalm 119 reflects humility, patience, attentiveness, and a posture of asking for clarity rather than assuming it. This is the foundation of how we aim to serve in Blount County, TN.

More About Vision Wellness…

  • Yes! Vision Wellness is the only eye care practice in Blount County that is 100% locally owned and operated without any outside influence. That’s something we’re extremely proud of too.

  • Absolutely. Members at Vision Wellness are encouraged to pick the doctor they feel they can relate to best. Schedules fluctuate throughout the year, but we want our members to see who they want during their visit.

  • Life changed for our family and the practice became something we no longer felt was serving well. While it was an honor to build and grow that practice, it no longer aligned with what we wanted in our lives or careers. We are forever grateful to everyone in Blount County who supported us while we owned & operated it!

  • Simply stated: God called us to serve this community. We knew it needed to look completely different this time, so we decided to radically change the way eye care is delivered while removing traditional barriers to care. Vision Wellness is a passion-project for us, and there’s no place we’d rather build it than in Maryville, TN.
